I am a vocal performance major at K-State here in KS. I got a little depressed this semester and added a Theatre minor to help me cope with my depression (I feel more opera-esque when I'm in theatre classes and therefore less depressed, don't ask).

My mom was the one who inspired me to sing in the first place but she died of breast cancer about ten years ago. Although her death is part of my history and for a while was pretty much all of who I was, I've delt with it, have accepted it and ultimately, I have learned to live with it.

I have a dog named Angel that I really love and I wish that she were here in Manhattan with me. I am considering bring her here next semester but I will have to think about it soem more. It really depends on how I do this semester and my family and I think I'm ready to add a dog into the mix now.

After college, I want to attend graduate school (but I'm not really sure where yet) and then I'd to work in an office while launching my opera career. Although I want an opera career, for numerous reasons, I'd like to keep it based in the mid-west.

I want to perform one day. I am looking for someone who is supportive of that.
