| 12/23/2009 1:03:00 PM | I'm a City Gal living in South Texas from NYC. I'm A Jewish Mother, an Artist, a Jewelry Designer, a Homeschool Teacher, a Blogger, a Web Designer, a Graphic Artist, a Cook, a Painter and a Metal-Smither. I have 4 kids, my oldest one is 10, 2 boys and 2 girls. I love to take walks on the beach here and on Fire Island NY. After my Divorce I am looking to move back to NY. I have been married 12 years and I'm really not the type of person to take the easy way out, but I am Jewish and I love being Jewish and where I live, it's not easy. The best thing was to go our separate ways, the kids will be living with me. I also believe in being up front and honest. I also will tell you how it is (it's the New Yorker in me) I'm 40 years old, but I still feel young at heart. I'm ready to get to NY and start my life over again....I can't wait!!! |
| 12/21/2009 12:37:00 PM | My name is Michael, I am 62 years old. I am jewish non religious, but i am proud of and honor my heritage! I have lived more than half of my life outside of the U.S. I was a merchant seaman. I bought and sold antiques in Europe and did many other things that I enjoyed doing to earn a living. I sincerely believe that you cannot judge a person's intelligence by their academic level because academia is only related to the specific studies of a specific trade or skill. Intelligence to me is a vast level of instincts and knowledge that come from the gift of ability and life experiences. Through my abilities to express myself with people I have met, I was offered many jobs and positions that only people with high academic levels would get. I had the natural ability to do those things better than other people: Like working for a newspaper in England and other things that come from a natural gift to do things in a unique way. I have found few people in my life's experiences that really know what is going on around them. When you are not arrogant, but really have an ability to know and analyze things properly, it is frustrating to be around millions and millions of people that can't comprehend things as they really are. This might sound arrogant of me to say, but then we were all born from a force that we do not know of. And that gave us the ability or lack of ability to really know and not opinionize and be able to judge things around us. This is why I have never found comfort in any long standing relationship with a woman. Not because of petty arguments or selfishness on my part, but not being able to share that real inner beliefs and feelings about what is going on around us. Even though at this late age I am very pessimistic about people in general, I still would like to believe that there are persons, in this case a woman, that are genuinly looking for the same type of situation. |
| 12/20/2009 9:14:00 PM | i am a good jewish lady, but tired be alon |
| 12/19/2009 11:13:00 PM | i am not outgoing at all i only would like companionship not into sexual conversation right off the bat - it takes time to get to that point; i am in a time warp with music 60's 70's very early 80's hard rock, folk, blues, country rock, some classical, some opera - left off from languages - hungarian i consider myself jewish-hungarian, immigrant, israeli (by right), american. i like solitude quite evenings, music, concerts, someone who is mature enough to understand that a relationship does not start off with sex. one had to get to know someone before one can even consider it plus there has to be a mutual attraction and chemistry and definitely not right off the bat. i can not emphasize this enough. i know this totally eliminates my chances. |
| 12/17/2009 11:26:00 PM | I AM IN NEW YORK, TRYING TO CHANGE SCREEN NAME. "Home" is a spectacular island in the middle of the NIAGARA rive, five miles above the falls. Need to Find Mr. Right here, not in Orange Country. I like to think I do not fit a mold. Why? I want to be different, and am pleased that I am different from the so called "average" woman. Comfortable in my own skin, though not adverse to a touch up now and then/ I like my looks, and hope you will also. A recent transplant to New York from California. Major change, but a wonderful one. I have several rules. Always have a valid passport. Don't eat food unless it is terrific. LIVE life fully. Mr Right is out there. this time he will be Jewish! Single is good. Married and in love is definitely much better. I believe in intense love, passion and adventure. Is this possible at my age? |
| 12/17/2009 10:17:00 AM | my name viktoria, from israel. naw live in canada. want mariage with jewish man. |

| 12/17/2009 10:09:00 AM | Love meeting new people, especially in my Jewish Community! |
| 12/16/2009 10:20:00 PM | My name is Noah, and I love working at my summer camp, watching West Wing, and cooking delicious food. I play a few instruments, but Jewish songleading is my favorite. I'm also a semi-professional photographer, and I do some marketing and graphic design on the side. Other likes: C-Span, bright colors, the symphony, my Corolla station wagon, and my adorable dog. Mostly, I'm just down to have fun, and I'm looking forward to meeting some new people! Happy Jewish! |
| 12/16/2009 10:19:00 PM | In the year 2000, I began my quest back into Judaism. I tried to find a stream that I was comfortable with. My real beginning began with an Orthodox Rabbi who taught Kaballah at a Jewish person’s home. I became friends with many of them. I discovered a Traditional Shule, which I felt comfortable in – the community, learning and the services, and became a member. Shortly afterwards, with the Jewish friends that I had made, I became a Committee Member of the Young Adults Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. Shortly afterwards, the Community Kollel was organized and I was enjoying Shabbat dinners with other Jewish people. Later they began giving various classes and I began to learn Chumash, Kabbalah, etc. As I grew up, my mother was friends with the Rabbi and Rabbitzen from Chabad...For the past three years; I have been involved with the Chabad’s Shabbos’s and their evening classes. I am now attending a Seminary school in NY. I enjoy learning the philosophies of Chabad, however, I am only a “friend of Chabad”. What I mean is that attend at Chabad shules, although, I personally do things that are not Chabad. For example: I am not Cholov Yisroel, I do prefer to wear short sleeve shirts, when I marry I plan to partially cover my hair, I may own a TV, and I do watch movies ; ) My immediate family are taught in Chabad Yeshiva’s and Seminaries. I have experienced everything from Reconstructionist (dad) to Chabad (mother and siblings). Personally, I am a “friend of Chabad”. My personality...hmmm... Well, as you can see, by reading what I have written, I enjoy being social, I am totally down to earth, easygoing, flexible, open-minded, friendly and kind, and I think I am intellectual too ; ) Think Westcoast PLUS Canadian... |
| 12/14/2009 2:22:00 PM | my names karra mai. ive just made this profile because my grandma keeps mentioning that ill find a break in the assholes ifi find a good jewish boy. so im gong to try it out and see what happens. ^.^ i have a lot to offer, i have a huge heart and im too generous with myself and my emotions, ive been taken for granted one too many times. so im very guarded now. i am a victoria secret sales associate, i also do some print modeling as one of my passions. im enrolled to start culinary school in may 2010. i love music, animals, nature, art in any form, (as most jews do) anything else, you should ask about, because you cant truly get to know someone unless you make a concerted effort. who knows? maybe someone on here can finally sweep me off my feet, or finally compliment the great things in my personality. |
| 12/14/2009 8:34:00 AM | my mother is jewish and my father is baptist i was raised in an irish protestant family and spent jewish holidays with my mother dont know much about the religion but my mom does |
| 12/14/2009 8:34:00 AM | I am a nice Jewish man |
| 12/13/2009 8:53:00 PM | I am a 1st year in an acting conservatory called PCPA; Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts here on the Central Coast. I am also a token Mexican Jew; 1/4 Italian, 1/4 Danish Jewish & 1/2 Mexican. I LOVE music, any and every kind. It's almost ridiculous how versatile my music tastes are. Well, in a nut shell I'm laid-back, yet somewhat hyper. I'm a bit of a goofball and I like to have fun and be fun. So get to know me if you like, I'm a people person! :) |
| 12/13/2009 4:19:00 PM | It has been said that the difference between a smart person and a wise person is that a smart person knows what to say, while a wise person knows whether or not to say it. I'm still not as wise as I'd like to be, but I keep working at it! I'm semi-retired now, after spending many years in my own marketing business. I've done a lot of traveling, but there are still places I'd like to visit and some places I'd like to re-visit. I'm a one-woman kinda guy; any relationship I've ever had has been long and meaningful. I'm very affectionate, I listen well and I'm considerate. I'm active and I work out regularly in order to stay strong, slender and healthy. My friends and family would say that I'm intelligent, funny, faithful and honest. Contrary to what seems to be expected of Jewish men, I'm an incurable DIYer; I really enjoy repairing stuff. |
| 12/10/2009 9:49:00 AM | I am an intelligent, well-read, beautiful Jewish woman. Well, enough of that typical shtick that we all think we have to say. Now on to reality: on my off-time from my children (who are my heart)and my law practice, I love to wander around art museums, write fiction and poetry, hike, and discuss intelligent matters with the intelligentsia. I also enjoy good movies (like indies, docum., foreign films and VERY funny movies), and jazz - especially piano and sax. I also love to travel - can't wait to return to Japan, and hit some other Asian countries. I just need a good, wonderful, handsome, funny, man to join me. I have also lived in Mexico, as well as other foreign countries (if you count New York and Mississippi as foreign countries, which I definitely do). Ok - here's some more shtick we all stick in here: I am so easy-going, I'll give you your space, you'll give me my space, then we'll all have plenty of space. |
| 12/10/2009 9:38:00 AM | im a beautiful israeli jewish girl who is lookign for a good looking jewish guy!!! |
| 12/10/2009 9:37:00 AM | Shy, relatively sane (I am a former Upper West Sider and as such, sanity is relative), hardworking, divorced Jewish MD employed by a large municipal hospital. I am usually too old, too short, or too poor to meet the search criteria of most of the women on Jdate. I hope I might do better here!. |
| 12/8/2009 8:09:00 PM | well travelled/educated Jewish male.Great sense of humor with the ability to see the absurdities in everyday life.Good communicator, laid back, patient and always curious about the world around me.Love to travel long and short distances.Life is much more fun with the right person to share it with. |
| 12/6/2009 11:43:00 AM | My name is Danielle and I just moved to New Tampa for Grad School at USF to study Speech/Language Pathology. I graduated from UCF this past Spring. I'm very outgoing and people tell me my smile lights up a room. I'm mature for my age, but my favorite shows are on the Disney Channel. I can be very silly and others think I'm very funny. I was born and raised in Connecticut, I'm a real New England kind of girl. My family is very important to me and my younger sister is my best friend. I love to laugh and love little kids! I am very goal oriented and know where I am going and what I want out of life. I'm just a nice Jewish girl looking for a nice Jewish guy. |
| 12/5/2009 10:13:00 AM | I don't really date much in the traditional sense - I prefer when things happen naturally: meet someone interesting, get a chance to spend time together, develop mutual feelings, communicate, make into relationship. Given that I'm probably too busy for my own good at the moment (between work and part-time masters), I don't really meet a lot of new people on a regular basis, so my preferred way of things happening naturally may not be so practical. I like food (both cooking and eating), travel, photography, dancing (I enjoy social partner-dancing, but I feel out of place at a typical nightclub). My "jewishness" is mostly a cultural/identity thing - I don't consider myself to be a very religious person in my daily life and thinking - but I may eventually seek more concrete/deep connection later on, especially if I have children (I don't expect hebrew school alone to do the trick). I keep kosher out of habit and upbringing and consistently observe/celebrate high holidays, chanukah, purim, and passover. I grew up in NY and PA, my parents grew up in Israel, and most of my relatives live there, so Israel is like a second home to me, and I visit regularly. |
| 12/5/2009 10:07:00 AM | Well there is alot about me why not just email me and find out for yourself.I come from a fine Jewish family . I was raised in the Army being my dad was a rabbi. So you cant get more Jewish then I am .I love to travel and meet new and exciting new people. |
| 12/5/2009 10:05:00 AM | I'm an awsome catch! I'm really nice, down-to-earth and drama free. I know everyone says that, but I actually am. I don't do the annoying things other women do, like nag and whine in an annoying, loud voice or watch The View and home design shows. I have a not-so-G-rated sense of humor (like Family Guy, South Park, Kevin Smith, George Carlin, etc), so I hope you could handle it. I've been practicing Judaism since I was 14 and would like to have a Jewish family someday. I've traveled around the world a lot and enjoy most activities. I am open to people in all locations, as I'm not attached to where I live now. |
| 12/5/2009 9:58:00 AM | Single dad, healthy. happy, secure financially and emotionally, looking for that special woman who can set my heart on fire! |
| 12/3/2009 5:32:00 PM | I can tell you about me - but you won't really know me til you meet me. So in no particular order, I am: Jewish, it is my cultural identity. Mom of 2 kids/adults now. New Yorker at heart, living in Denver 20 years. Yankees fan (Rockies too). Homeowner. Healthy (lately it takes more work to stay that way). Medical transcriptionist working at home. Part-time student at DU, communications major. Fast driver. Net-surfer (who can keep up with all the latest tech advances?). Pizza lover. Dog-lover (cats, too). Book-lover. Liberal. Libra. Vodka drinker, sometimes wine. Careful about choosing my friends. Looking forward to my next great relationship. |
| 12/1/2009 8:09:00 PM | Not your typical Jewish girl. Live in the catskill mountains..love the outdoors, adventure and travel. I am a single mom (father not involved at all) to a wonderful, easy going 5 year old son (we all think our children are wonderfu, you mom does too!). I am fairly easy going and laid back...enjoy a healthy lifestyle and care about the environment. I love to travel and explore new things. I enjoy plays, museums, dining out, city and weekend trips. I am loving and honest. I enjoy a simple life, but am fairly active. Very family oriented and being Jewish is important to me. I love my life here in the mountains..but for the right guy, I may be willing to have this as a weekend/country home. If you really enjoy the mountains..are up for long walks, clean air and no light pollution romantic nights in front of a campfire..and lots of other things.....I may just be your girl. |
| 12/1/2009 8:02:00 PM | I want to start dating so I decided to join Jewish American singles. I'm at NYU grad school studying to become a teacher. The type of person I am is funny, kind, witty, upbeat, goal oriented, and determined. I love coffee so if your a coffee drinker great. Oh and I love to laugh so I hope to find someone that likes to laugh too. I am very close to my family so I want to meet someone that is close to his family as well. I guess what I’m looking for is a friend that could eventually turn into something more. I think that is a great start to any relationship to be friends first and then see where it goes. |
| 12/1/2009 7:55:00 PM | I really hate these write about yourself boxes. Basically, I am a nice jewish girl from long island who is looking for a nice jewish boy. I work hard and take my career very seriously but my family comes first and I love spending time with them. Family traditions and holidays are very important to me and we attend services for the high holidays. I grew up conservative in a kosher household and things have gotten more reform as the years have gone on and less kosher. But I am flexible. I love to travel to new places, play cards, shoot pool, have friends over for dinner parties (whether home cooked or catered), movies, broadway shows and comedy clubs. A nice glass of wine and good sushi is my favorite way to relax. |
| 12/1/2009 7:51:00 PM | I'm a fun loving, easy going jewish guy )))... Enjoying life, flexible, independent, intelegent, responsible, family-oriented, sensitive, flexible, good listener, friendly, respectful , kind and romantic...... I like sports , music, travel .... also like to cook .....but i'm open to anything.... )) I always remember to forget the troubles that pass my way; BUT NEVER forget the blessings that come each day. |
| 12/1/2009 7:51:00 PM | Tall, sweet, educated, nice, outgoing, down to Earth, loving and caring, Jewish male. I like to go bowling, shoot some pool, listen to various music genres.
