hi, i'm alison. I'm back in St. Louis, the town where I grew up. It's been 7 years since I lived here, and I honestly thought I'd never be back. But here I am. I feel like I'm different person now though, and the city is different too. In some ways, in others it hasn't changed much at all. In the 7 years I've been gone I lived in Kansas, Florida, Georgia and New York. I've made a full circle – but I'm not stopping here forever. A layover for a few years. And we'll see where life takes me from there. I am a writer – it's my job but it's also who I am. My day job is writing ads for an advertising agency. On the side I help run a charity, write bad poetry, dabble in short stories and eventually plan on finishing a screen play I've been writing forever. I am a professional people watcher and coffee drinker. I also love music. Acoustic guitar is possibly my favorite sound .that and rain on the roof. I'm trying not to look for you. That's when they say it happens. When you aren't looking. So I'm trying not to look, but there are just so many of you out there to look at :) But if I had to l hinking that you're Jewish to start. (go figure). That you are kind and generous, that you have a smile that brightens my day. I care a lot about my career and hope you who feel the same about your career- or a hobby. I have so many passions in my life, I can't imagine being with someone who isn't passionate about something. I want someone to listen to, to talk to and laugh with. If you can play gui ours. Just kidding – but that would be a bonus. I want someone who can have a conversation about the silly random things in our days to intellectual deep probing late night conversations. Someone who could spend all day at a coffee shop, who cares for me as much as I care for them. Perfect world as Jerry put it, someone who completes me. Not that I'm looking :)
