I'm a divorced, professional woman, with two wonderful kids, ages 14 and 11. My friends describe me as smart, fun, honest, loyal, and affectionate as well as artistic, creative, occasionally a little off-beat, and pretty down to earth.

Education is very important to me. I have my undergrad degree, a masters degree and what is sometimes called a 'terminal professional degree' (sounds awful doesn't it?) which is basically equilivant to a PhD. I am finishing a second masters degree this spring. I grew up on the East Coast, and have traveled in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Canada.

In my spare time, I like to swim, hike, work on fixing up my house, garden, sew, read, play on the computer, and volunteer. I also enjoy eating out, theater, travel, good museums, and quiet time with someone special.

I'm adventurous and enjoy new experiences. I like people, and enjoy spending time getting to know others.

Someone with a keen intellect, a good education, a strong sense of self, an adventurous nature, and a love of travel. He should be good at what he does, and take pride in his work and accomplishments without being totally self-centered. He must be honest, open, ethical and a mensch. He should enjoy life and know how to have fun, but when to be serious. I have kids, so he must be open to and understanding about that. A romantic side would also be nice!
