How does one do this (talk about oneself) and manage to balance truth (what we think we are) and modesty (what mother taught us to say we are)? Let me start by saying that I believe a healthy dose of dreams is one of the main ingredients in a fulfilling life and that dreams do come true if you keep at them. I am a sensual woman who is at the same time an incurable romantic; one who has had many careers, excelled in most, failed in some, but all-in-all, I am the type of person who generally sees the proverbial bottle two-thirds full. I am bright, well read, compassionate, more spiritual than religious, and have an overwhelming variety of interests. Though proper as proper comes, there is a definite mischievous streak in my character and you can get a glimpse of it if you look deep into my eyes. In sum, I am full of life, zest and humor, but at the same time I have gone through enough ups and downs to understand that we must make the most out of the time allotted to us. While alone, I am not lonely and though comfortable with myself, I recognize the fact that I would like to share the rest of my life with someone who is not only "present", but who will share the marvel of it all with me. I want to find a man who can be my friend, partner and lover, someone I can not only be attracted to, but respect and admire. I like men who have both strong beliefs and principles, and sense of direction in their lives (but who are able to take gracefully the occasional suggestions of a co-pilot). I would like to find someone who knows himself, has learned from previous mistakes and looks forward to building a lasting, stable, wonderful relationship involving commitment, passion, faithfulness, patience, humor and willingness to try NEW experiences, ideas, foods, toothpastes, etc, etc. Being open-minded, caring, communicative and understanding also fits the profile.
