I just moved to DC and have been having a great time exploring. I just got out of grad school in December and already I'm having some sort of career crisis...I had a job but I'm quitting it this week. I'm now job searching for something in fundraising. I'm still really new to the DC area and would love to hear about new stuff to do around here! Let's see, about me...well, I like caramel lattes, books by David Sedaris, microbrews, and Kanye West's new cd. In the summer I like being on boats and going to the beach while attempting to protect my white, white skin. In the winter I like - oh wait, I hate winter, and I recently moved from Michigan in order to avoid it. I am a huge fan of: Africa, dive bars, sushi, independent films, watching football and basketball (primarily University of Michigan and the Pistons, but I'm about to adopt the Redskins and the Wizards - apparently college football isn't such a big deal out here), Bob Dylan, shoes, my Apple Powerbook, and Italy.
