I like to think that I am smart, funny and interesting. I also like to think that I am 5'10", but I know that's not true, so you'll have to form your own opinion. I love to read.Some of my fave books are The Count of Monte Cristo (unabridged), Night by Elie Wiesel, The Iliad, The Odyssey, and The Aeniad (all translated by Robert Fitzgerald), The Hobbit and LOTR...I LOVE Mythology! love movies, especially dramas, action and comedies and I have too many faves to list. I will also admit (although I am ashamed of it) that I do watch way too much TV, even some of that mind-numbing reality crap! Music: I love everything except country. Some of the music on my iPod include Nina Simone,Yaz,Soft Cell,Nine Inch Nails,Violent Femmes,Ying Yang Twins,Chemical Brothers, Me'Shell Ndegeocello,Ozzy Osbourne,Daft Punk, Yo Yo Ma,Rolling Stones, Simple Minds,Miri Ben-Ari,Metallica,Cream,Willie Dixon,Bob Gentry,Kate Bush,Ted Nugent,The Police,Johnny Cash (he's NOT country!),Led Zepplin, Lily Allen, Dizzy Gillespie, Roisin Murphy, & Justin Timberlake (cringes) I know...how could I? I just love that he brought sexyback! My new fave movie quote is "In MY world, everyone's a pony and they eat rainbows and poop butterflies!" I like sports (Alexi Lalas once called me Pele!), but I'm not fanatical about them and I'd much rather watch college than pro sports, except hockey. Go Wings! I don't think I'm high maintenance, but I'm definitely not low maintenance, either. I am a Self-Proclaimed Dork and proud of it! That was redundant, wasn't it? Why would I proclaim it if I wasn't proud? Oy, nevermind! If you don't have a pic on your profile, I probably won't bother to look at it. I hate having my pic taken, but I suffered thru it and put a few on my profile, so I figure it is the least anyone can do. And if you don't bother to fill out your profile, I probably will have no desire to chat with you. Past experience shows blank/boring profiles mean lazy/boring people.

I don't think you really know a person from an online profile. Believe it or not, alot of people lie on these things! GASP!! I'd like to meet someone who truly is 'What you see is what you get' and not someone who was that 10 years (and usually 50 lbs) ago. If you NEED to drive a fancy car to impress women, no thanks (...unless it's a Lotus...haha)! While I appreciate the finer things, I don't NEED them to be happy. I'm not looking for a booty call, so if that's all you're interested in, then I'm not for you.
