About Me
I converted to Reform Judaism about one year ago. I feel at home in my religion, although I don't go as often as I should to services.
I'm an easy-going person who likes to have fun with my friends, and likes to learn new things about new people. I can be really shy in person, but I can keep up a good conversation. I have my moments when I don't want to talk about anything earth-shattering, but I also enjoy a good political discussion. I will be finished with my Master of Public Administration in August of 2006, and I have my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
When I find something that fascinates me, I tend to want to become an expert on that topic. I usually have something to say about just about everything, though.
I hate trying to fill out these "about me" blurbs because I always feel like I'm not going to say enough or that I'm going to say too much. I have fun reading everyone else's, though, but it sometimes makes me feel like mine is inadequate. I may come back and change this often, so if you want to get to know more about me, I'd say keep checking back here, and obviously contact me.
I'll end this with my favorite quote. Sometimes our favorite quotes say quite a bit about who we are. Sometimes they're just misleading. I can honestly say, though, that I firmly believe that I am here to help try to heal the world, and that when one is oppressed, all are oppressed. However, these are not my favorite quotes. So, without further ado...here is the quote: "When you look at zero, you see nothing. But when you look through zero, you can see the world."
