I'm 43 years old but much younger at heart (and in looks.) People that know me always think I'm "pulling their leg" when I tell them my age. I was brought up "Conservadox" and at age 12 became more religious and now consider myself (very) modern orthodox. I'm just coming out of a 17 year marraige and don't feel I'm ready to get into a serious relationship right now although as the expression goes "Man plans & G-d laughs," so who knows? We really can't predict the future and don't know what G-d has in mind for us.
I work as a physician assistant and I love it! It is a second (third) career for me. My first degree is in teaching. I taught special ed. for 4 years and although I'm a superb teacher and can break anything down into its smallest components to make something complex into something easy and understandable, I couldn't handle the behaviors. I have to admit it; I'm a lousy disciplinarian. I went to work in the medical field as a paramedic (after working at "lower" medical jobs to get "on the job training") and hurt my back. That was the end of that career! I went back to school and became a PA so I don't have to single handedly carry large loads.

Do you know the pity of it? I have so many college credits that I could have earned a doctorate degree but, all I have is 2 bachelors, and an associates degree, which I actually got after the 1st Bachelor's degree. Do I do things backwards or what?

I have 3 childrten who I adore. They are ages 7, 8 (and 3 quarters) and 10. If we start seeing alot of each other you'll probably get to meet them, but don't worry. If you bring them a small present, they'll be "eating out of your hand."

Someone to go out to dinner with (kosher of course), to a comedy club or off (maybe off, off) Broadway play. (Unfortunately my days of enjoying Broadway plays is nearing an end because of the exorbidant prices.)

I'm fun to be with, honest and a great listener and want someone with the same qualities, and they can't smoke. I can't stand being around cigareete smoke. (Sorry all you great guys that happen to smoke. I'm not negotiable on this!)

I judge people by their inner qualities and not their outer, so I really don't care what you look like, as far as thin or heavy, tall or short or what color eyes you have...BUT, I do need you to have clean clothes (they don't have to be designer) and good hygiene. I don't care how religious or irreligious you are as long as you respect my religious beliefs and don't ask me to alter them for you. Don't ask me to eat not kosher food, travel or talk on the phone on the Sabbath etc. and we'll be fine together.
