I am 100% Sephardic; both sides of my family trace themselves back to pre-inquisition Spain. My father's family came here by way of Turkey, and my mother's family came by way of the Isle of Rhodes after a sojourn in Italy. Family means everything to me; I am quite close to even third cousins with whom I grew up, something quite unheard of in today's America.

I have an appreciation for fine art, theatre, and (good) music. Although I do not earn my living by making music, I have a musician's ear which I feel benefits me in other aspects of my life.

I have always been sensitive to the creatures with whom we share this Earth. My housemate is a four-year-old female Toy Fox Terrier. She is a retired Show Champion who came to live with me following the untimely death of my eleven-year-old female Chihuahua in April, 2007.

Like most American males, I am somewhat of a sports fan. I enjoy baseball (the Atlanta Braves) and college football (the University of Georgia Bulldogs), but I no longer live and die based on the fortunes of my teams. I am also fond of older cars, especially convertibles.

I feel that I have a great deal to offer to the right lady, who will also be able to enrich my life as much as I can hers.

I am looking for a special lady who has a full and complete life of her own, just like I do. This is not to say that we have no need or use for what the other brings to the table known as an interpersonal relationship.

She should be looking for someone who can help to broaden the already rich horizons of her life, just as I am. She should also have an appreciation for the fine arts, theatre, and (good) music. She should also possess a keen intellect, being capable of carrying on an intelligent conversation.

Since family is of such great importance to me, it should be equally important to her. I very much want to bring the next generation of my family into this life, and to groom them to carry on the family heritage while being a contributing member of society; we should be partners in achieving this mutually important goal.

In summation, I am not looking for someone who can live with me and with whom I can live; rather, I am looking for someone who does not want to live without me and without whom I do not want to live. I look forward to meeting you, and hope that you look forward to meeting me as well.
