Relocating to East Lansing from NYC for graduate school. I expect the Midwest will be a while new experience and am excited to see how it turns out. I love theater, yummy food, good books, travel, intense conversation, movies, dive bars, and interesting places/people. I hate substituting television for conversation (which isn't to say I don't enjoy some trashy TV), and I like the great outdoors (and am excited to see it more often than I did in the city). I'm an interesting mix of very intense and pretty laid back. I love to talk but I do listen. I'm openminded, fun, and comfortable in lots of settings and with lots of different people.

I want someone who is intelligent, who can spend hours talking, and has a real set of interests (whether they are similar to mine or not). Someone who is educated and informed. I love dorky/nerdy guys (not mandatory but very appealing)with some social grace. I'd like to meet a guy who isn't caught up in being cool or hip.
