About Me
Warning: If you can’t handle a strong, outspoken, independent woman who will call you out on your bs, then keep moving…but, if you’re not afraid of a challenge, feel free to read on. I’ve been called a lady and I’ve been called a tiger, but I prefer to think of myself a hybrid of the two. I’ve got a bit of fire in the belly, but that only comes out when necessary. Who knows? You might actually enjoy seeing that side of the Tiger. There is a reason why I’ve never married and it’s because I refuse to settle. I know there’s someone out there who can tango with me intellectually, emotionally and physically, so I refuse to give up until he is found. I’m a grab the bull by the horns kind of gal (that’s the Texas in me) and I seek out a person who is motivated, driven and knows what he wants. No slackers, please.
Here’s something you guys should like. I’m a MAJOR football fan. My teams are the Saints and the LSU Tigers. Come on over for a game, and you can indulge in the best gumbo you’ve ever had (it’s my specialty). Please note that Alabama fans might want to bring some protective pads, because it could get ugly if we’re in the same room, lol.
I find intelligence to be a major turn on, so please have a brain. I want someone who can hold their end of a decent conversation and can keep up in the witty banter department. I keep up with the news on a regular basis and want the person I’m with to know about what’s happening in the world instead of caring only about who was eliminated on Idol last night, or which celebrity Paris Hilton is sleeping with this week. Reading is a passion of mine as well. It provides a great escape to other times and places. An appreciation for music is also key. There’s an old saying: Music is the glue of the world.
Due to some recent, unfortunate events in my family, I am at a crossroads and realize more than ever that life is too precious to waste. I’m ready for that special someone to build a life with and share the joy that I saw my parents have during their 50 years of marriage. Are you ready to jump into the most exciting chapter of your life yet? If yes, than I look forward to hearing from you. Don’t keep this tiger waiting.
