About Me
People tell me I'm fun to be with. I enjoy good conversations, am interested in learning new things, have always held leadership positions. I am dependable, caring, friendly, honest, witty, have wide ranging interests and love to laugh. I'm often told I look, sound and act younger than my years.
I'm a Hospice volunteer, am active in my local Woman's Club. I was on the Library Board for over 20 years, and on the Visiting Nurse Association's board for 12. Have been President of Synagogue Sisterhoods, now unfortunately defunct. Belonging to a Yiddish speaking club keeps up my Mama Loshen.
I enjoy digital photography and have won several awards for my work.
Learning about new things delights me. Google and I are good friends! National Public Radio or good music keep me company when alone.
I was married at 18 to a good and loving man for 39 years. He was an Optometrist, I was his office manager. Now work part time for his successor. We raised 2 fine children who married good people too. To my sorrow, my son died 4 years ago of complications from the flu. I have 2 grandsons, one in grad school one in college.
My married daughter lives in Colorado.
