Ok, this is going to hurt… Nature is my home and yes...I hug trees. Yes, I am a hippie at heart! I fluctuate between staying home kicking back and staying active including partying like a rock star. I enjoy traveling, gardening, photography (mainly wildlife), canoeing/kayaking, hiking (including my dog as much as possible), the arts, cooking, intelligent and philosophical conversations inclusive yet not exclusive to politics, religion, world affairs and personal beliefs. I tend to approach life holistically and … am determined living life as much as to the fullest as possible…

One more thing (it might be impotent, oops, I meant important), I leave life simply, I am NOT materialistic, I tend to have a down to earth approach, I personally prefer no make up (it is not a deterrent rather a preference). Straight shooter, affectionate, spontaneous, passionate multifaceted and genuine is how I’d be described by friends.

Music:
Music ranges from opera to techno yet I never developed much taste for rap. My favorites: classical, classic rock and roll, rock, reggae, blue grass, blues and jazz. Although, I am always open to new experiences.
Movies:
You watch and perceive it so you can decide for yourself.
If I had to choose an all time favorite: The sounds of music.
Television:
I had refrained from having television for over 9 years… and going. I limit myself to watching movies/shows of my choosing.
Books:
Not a book buff, most of my reading focus on e-papers and highlights from around the world. From time to time I’ll pick a book that interests me. Besides, I prefer to write.

My past had thought me to walk before running. For certain I am looking for that special person in my life but it takes more than a few cutesy sentences on line. Therefore, first and foremost I am seeking a friend to share time with while engaging in fun activities …please refer to the “about me” section. I am always open to new things and would love to share them with you if you got your own gig going. We can alternate past time activities and grow.

I am also looking to find someone that will bring me a few steps back (forward?) toward my roots and homeland culture. I found my self longing for that closeness since I have removed my self a bit too much in years past.

Later if thing progress and we find the “flame” going between us… down time is most defiantly (definitely?) included within activities. :) … Oh yes, exploring romance, lust and love are important ingredients for me. If you are not enthusiastic about the above we will most likely end up being great friends. I am a very giving person and am needy in receiving it back- that is what keeps me going.

I firmly believe that building a solid friendship with strong communication skills and common threads is most important. Hopefully it will lead to finding that special one. At the worst case scenario- we managed to find another life long friend…
