Although recently widowed and new to Arizona, I wish to make friends with the possibility of someone becoming my soul mate. I am very easy-going, versatile, industrious, and creative. Although I am no longer a glamour queen, I am told I still look pretty and fun to be with on a date. I am always a lady whether in jeans or dressed for dinner or parties making me desirable to bring to any occasion.
My home is now my castle since I work every day to enhance its' appearance whether it be gardening or painting.
One thing I look for in a relationship is mutual respect, loyalty, and common interests which would include photography, art,reading, writing, dining, theater, movies, etc.
A person's looks are not important as someone who possesses kindness, intelligence,understanding and compassion which are traits I consider an important part of my character.
Although semi-retired, I enjoy working with people especially those who need my help.
I worked with children and retail for most of my life as a business owner but I also do activist work helping animals, the elderly and children who need a voice to speak for them.
I am not a mannequin who spends hours in front of the mirror plastering herself with make-up but a" take me as I am" down-to-earth lady who believes in the old school methods of treating a man as a special person and not take him for granted.

At this time I am looking for friendship but those people with whom I make friends would have my loyalty indefinitely.
If I were lucky enough to find someone with whom there was a chemistry whereas he would like me for myself and want to be with me all the time, then I would consider a permanent love as an inevitable part of my life. I feel I would be blessed with a miracle if I were that lucky again.
