Hi, I'm Alyssa. I moved to AZ from Los Angeles, CA in November of 2004. I live w/ my parents, younger brother & 5 dogs. My family & dogs mean the world to me & we are very close.

I'm a full time college student majoring in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy working w/ children & want to be a daycare or preschool teacher.

At only 4'7", I’m incredibly petite. I look extremely young for my age, which is often very hard for me to deal w/. People notice how shy & quiet I am & that I wear glasses. I listen more than I speak.

I'd describe my personality as shy & quiet but I’m also incredibly sweet, loving, caring, trustworthy, respectful, honest, innocent & kind. In my free time, some of the things that I enjoy include bowling, rock wall climbing, miniature golf, go karts, bumper cars, video games, bicycle riding, arcade games, rollerblading, ice/figure skating, walking, shopping, people watching, pool, ping pong/table tennis, card games, board games, pottery painting, reading, knitting, puzzles, laser tag, karaoke & many other activities. I also enjoy relaxing at home, playing games & swimming in my pool. I don't enjoy traveling, going to parties, bars or clubs.

I spend a lot of time thinking about all sorts of things, including family, health, money & the future. I worry a lot & about everything. I have some anxiety issues, fears & phobias, but I’m working on it & getting better.

Music: I love oldies, pop, soft rock, easy listening, some country, some R&B & top 40 music. I’m not a fan of rap, opera, gospel or heavy metal music.

Books: I love Sudoku & word search books. I also enjoy fiction, teen, romance, comedy & self-help books.

Movies: I love comedy, romance, romantic-comedies & chick-flicks. I’m not a fan of scary, violent or bloody movies.

TV Shows: My favorites are reality TV shows. I also enjoy watching TLC & Nick @ Night.

Food: I have a big sweet tooth & indulge in chocolate, ice cream & milkshakes. However, I'm an extremely picky eater. I love plain noodles w/ butter & cheese, macaroni & cheese & grilled cheese, but I don't like sauce on my noodles. I dislike nuts. My favorite restaurant is California Pizza Kitchen. My favorite fast food places are McDonalds, Subway & Taco Bell. I love Jamba Juice, but don't like coffee. I like soda, but don't like alcohol.
