About Me
Capturing one’s essence in a few technical lines may be daunting, but here it goes: I am a mature and responsible, yet playful person, drawn to all (well, most) things comical and the joys of socialising. Some say that it is my innate sense of diplomacy that accounts for the latter, and I must admit I kind of like this (who wouldn’t?), but maybe it is just my natural urge to make friends, or simply get to know more people, or just to enjoy any opportunity to chatter and discover others characters. Talking of which, there’s another source of useful indulgence for me: books, movies and theatre. Without being some sort of addict, I do willingly find the time to enter these always available worlds; it relaxes me, but also helps me travel along the paths of the human spirit.
But coming back to more earthly matters, I can say I’m a pretty good cook, as inventive as I am in general (no poisoning risks, however) and my close friends often testify to this. While I may sometimes prefer a lazy morning, I know that working out is very important, so I try not to miss out on jogging opportunities when the weather is fine. As for my profession, I guess I am one of the lucky ones to enjoy working, as some of the related activities actually reflect some of my personal interests. I am a cultural manager and the large array of events I organise (concerts, art exhibitions, conferences and workshops) usually provides me with much more than professional satisfaction – it is one of the best outlets for my imagination, my playfulness and my aesthetics thirst...
