am a transplanted New York lawyer living in my alternate universe of Gulfport, Florida. I have had a successful career and I still practice law but not in the manner I once did. I was a busy criminal lawyer in New York. You can imagine the Damon Runyon type characters who have crossed my path. These days, I am content to help people with other types of legal matters. I work from home with the help of paralegals who work from their respective homes.

Broadway musicals and theatre have been a source of emotion to me. My first experience was seeing "Oliver" on Broadway. On that Saturday, Penn State was playing on television and I had no intention of going anywhere. Thankfully, my parents were bigger and stronger than I was and my love affair began.

Like most of us, I am the product of the times in which I grew up. The fact is that everyone I knew was on their way to college. This is not to say we don't suffer from the same depressions and anxieties as anyone else, only that we all became professionals of one sort or another. I have been married and divorced twice and have relationships short and long throughout my life. People find me funny (or the ones who get it do) and like me but as a generalization I would like a partner who can motivate me, challenge me, and be my friend. I love strong, confident women. Pretty is always good. Confidence does not intimidate me.

My manners are good, although I can be politically incorrect. Most of the comedians who make me laugh think as I do; from George Carlin to Woody Allen to Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert. My politics lean toward the left. I don't watch "Dancing With the Stars". I do like my sports. Once a fan of a team I am loyal for life. I know a lot of "stuff". I would be a good, if not great contestant on Jeopardy.
