I recently replanted myself from Seattle in my home soil of MN. The past two years have been spent getting my footing back after losing to cancer my best friend and lover, and pondering where to go from here. Adventure, travel and exploration are my passions. Road trips off the beaten path are what I do. I stop at diners, flea markets and for views that take my breath away! Life experience has showed me that I am alot stronger and more independent than I ever thought I could be....and it feels good! and am enjoying the adventure of, not only exploring life, but the journey to define myself at this stage of new beginnings. I enjoy good conversations, good wine and good friends....and treasure my moments of solitude. I enjoy good food (am quite a cook!) and good wine (still learning). I devour books; get lost in music and love animals. As Mark Twain described, I am "not the kind of woman one would call refined, not the kind of woman one would call unrefined...I am the kind of woman who would own a parrot".

I do not know what I am looking for....not precisely. I do know my companion, my friend, my lover must be kind and respectful to all, must laugh easily, must be comfortable with affection, must disagree fairly and respectfully, must be able to speak without words, love with abandon and cherish the moments of exquisitness that are given to us. And must be able to read and decipher sammy zero zero underscore us at the place where cowboys cheer! If it is not romantic love you seek, that is ok. A "travel companion" or "activity partner" would work out nicely!
