About Me
Hi there, nice to meet you! Let me introduce myself. I'm kind, funny, outgoing, witty, intelligent, loyal, caring, and a whole bunch of other great things! To me, being with other people is the most fun and important thing in the world. I'm really interested in politics, history, Judaism, and being informed and involved in the world around us. It's a big place and the only we can make it better is if we try to understand it and how it works.
I grew up Scarsdale, NY (an NYC suburb). For college, I went to an undergraduate joint program between Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. I majored in History @ Columbia and Midrash (Biblical interpretation) @ JTS. After I graduated in 2009, I spent a few years doing assorted things like part-time office work; teaching at a bunch of different Hebrew Schools; learning Torah at a non-denominational egalitarian yeshiva on the Upper West Side called Yeshivat Hadar; and other assorted things. In Aug. 2012, I'll be starting a masters' program in Social Research (a combo of sociology, statistics, and some other fields thrown in as well) at Hunter College.
