Greetings! My name is Mike. I currently live on my own in Asbury Park, NJ in a high-rise apartment with a view of the ocean from my balcony. I'd say we can watch the sunrise over the ocean together, but chances are I'm usually sleeping.
I can be described as a tech geek, but I also have other interests in things such as watching movies, going to arcades (yes those still exist) with my friends, and the occasional bike ride.
I've come to the point of my life where there aren't many things I really need, other than of course for my loans to magically disappear. I live on my own, have a great relationship with my family, and I have a nice full time career which I enjoy greatly. I've put off dating for a long time in order to obtain these. Now that I've reached the point where I might consider myself to have "everything but the girl," I want the girl!
I want to be in a committed relationship, to experience the feeling of being in love that I have been witness to my whole life, be it through my parents, or my sister and the man she's with. I used to claim to be a hopeless romantic. I think I still can be, but I need to be inspired. It's a two way street.
I also think its important for a relationship to work if they find ways to better each other on a subconscious level. For instance if there is something you lack in, maybe I excel in it and vice-versa.
I find dating to be a lot like finding a job. Where it is a combination of experience and dumb luck. Then again, jobseekers don't send an inquiry to a job opening with a one liner like "Hey, can I have a job?" Anyway, take this profile as a resume and I hope to hear from you soon.
