I'm an easy-going, fun-loving guy that's looking forward to meeting a similarly inclined woman.
Now with that out of the way, onto the important stuff. I'm an aspiring amateur chef, pitmaster, sommelier, and homebrewer and love having friends over to enjoy the fruits of these efforts. I'm pretty sarcastic, love to laugh (preferably with others), and never shy away from a well-mannered discussion or debate. When the weather is nice, you'll find me coaching youth lacrosse out in Arlington, running around Columbia Heights and Crestwood, or enjoying a refreshing adult beverage anywhere with outdoor seating (beer garden anyone?). I'm always down for a round of golf, game of tennis, or a session at Petworth CrossFit. I'm a lapsed jazz musician from my college days and want to start taking greater advantage of local music/theater/dance/other performing arts options. So yes, I'm a guy that would actually like to do that kind of stuff with you.

I'm looking for someone who will challenge me to do and try new things. I find intelligence very attractive, and I am intrigued by an active, witty mind. Serious bonus points if you can make me laugh, have an adventurous palate, and are not a Yankees fan.

Obligatory background details: I came to DC a few years ago for a masters program in econ and international relations, and stayed in town to do national security research for a government funded think tank.
