What is there to really say about yourself without sounding conceited? I like to think that I'm a good person with good values. I have a wonderful supporting family consisting of parents who have been married for almost 35 years and a younger brother who recently joined the US Marine Corps. Things stay pretty lively around the house most of the time.

I was a pre-med/English major in college at UNC-Greensboro, but never graduated. Someday, I hope to remedy that situation. I was pretty active in campus life and joined a service sorority as well as holding office in the campus Hillel chapter the entire time I was in school there. (Remind me about volunteering my father to make potato latkes for the entire chapter sometime) When I left college, I moved to Richmond to save some money and be with my family, and I've been here ever since. I currently work for Circuit City in Store Support, but that will be changing in the next several months. Lately, I've been researching grant opportunities to raise money to open my own coffee shop/bakery/bookstore. The hard work doesn't scare me, but not having a steady income definitely does.

I like to read and write and watch movies. I adore museums and art fairs and concerts. I'm not a huge sports fan, but I can be completely content hanging out to watch a game as long as I enjoy the person/people that I'm watching it with. I love the beach, but mostly in the Spring and Fall because I'm not into laying out and tanning. I really prefer the Sunrise/Sunset over the ocean to baking myself. I also enjoy just being with someone. Whether that means sitting around talking and doing basically nothing, running errands, picnics in the park and feeding the ducks...I don't care as long as I'm around the person I want to be with.

I've been single on and off my whole life. I've been in a pretty serious relationship for the past two years, but I think that is about to end. What I'm most looking for is a friend that might end up being a more romantic relationship eventually. I want to find someone who is more intune to my interests and goals in life. Someday, I'd like to find my true soulmate and settle down.
