About Me
I live in Center City, Philadelphia. and enjoy the activities of Center City- theater, concerts, lectures, and restaurants. I excersize physically at the gym in my apartment building and mentally by reading and taking classes at Penn. I am proud of my Jewish heritage but I am a committed atheist. My politics are liberal. I subscribe to the New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, and Newsweek. I manage a small stock portfolio on-line. I love the theater and like to go to NYC as well as the Arden, Plays and Players, the Prince and the Lantern. I have four children scattered about the country with whom I have great relationships so much of my travel involves visiting them although I also enjoy foreign travel. I found that owning a car in Center City was not sensible so I sold my car. This limits my activity to the city but I don't feel I am missing anything in the suburbs. Taxis, walking, and buses get me anywhere I want to go except for golf courses for which I rent a car. I am reasonably well-read and I think I am a good conversationalist.
