I think there are more important things in life than money and material possessions. I open doors and hold elevators for women, even if they're not my date. I taught myself how to draw cartoons watching the Simpsons. My cooking abilities go way beyond the microwave and drive-thru. I love going for a hike in LA the day after it rains. I'm still friends with all my ex-girlfriends. I wear a tie to work, but am much more comfortable in jeans and t-shirt. My favorite Kurt Vonnegut book is Cat's Cradle. I think most people take themselves too seriously. If I could only take one CD to a deserted island (hopefully, they'd let me have a CD player, speakers and a lot of batteries too) ring John Coltrane. I think Chanukah is a cynical marketing ploy to attract a winter Jewish demographic. George W. Bush makes me want to cry and laugh at the same time. I started at UCLA in September to get a Masters in Social Welfare. I also ran a marathon in New Orleans in February and raised money to fight AIDS as part of the AIDS National Training Program. I recently moved to West LA and am excited to discover all the new perks of the neighborhood.
