Well, I'm a cute, cuddly, silly, intelligent, romantic, geeky guy, and a great hugger.

I'm sort of shy, but no shrinking violet. I have given speeches and lectures (technical) for groups and have even sung and performed onstage at the Broward Center. (Not a musician: comedy show.) I am emphatically NOT an entertainer, but I have written and recorded three song parodies since 2000, and the most recent one -- comedy/jazz/parody from 2012 is on YouTube. That's what my picture with the hat and red shirt is from.

I don't have the money or the body or of a celebrity, but I do have more common sense than many of them. Apparently I have a better understanding of economics and history than most politicians, but I don't claim to be an expert.

I've been a computer geek since the pre-Windows suitcase-sized 8-bit computers. In 2011 I bought a smartphone that now has 128,000 times the storage of my first PC.

I've lived here in Broward since high school, then got my bachelor's degree with a full scholarship.

I like good food, iced coffee, hot tea, juice, and (like any geek) pizza. But I'm also a good cook, IMHO.

Not a pet person, I like all kinds of animals, either at a distance or au jus, depending on species and circumstances.

Although they weren't among the choices, I also like Cuban food, Greek food, Indian food, health food (in moderation, of course), and my own unique recipes for delicacies like meatballs, potato latkes, and chicken soup.

I studied Latin in HS and German in college, but I probably know just as much Spanish picked up from living in south Florida for 40+ years.

What I'm looking for is not a woman of a specific height, girth, age, or hair color. I'm hoping to meet a nice, local, non-phony woman with a great personality, a lady who is intelligent, funny, cute, creative, and fun to be around. Pizza lovers and infrequent (or non) drinkers get extra credit.

You could be my new best friend! We can participate in each other's interests. That's one of the fun parts of any relationship.

You could be a little younger than me or a little older (I'm not a good judge of age anyway)... a little taller or a little shorter... able to carry on an intelligent and interesting conversation. Definitely not a smoker or drug user.

I prefer the company of freedom-loving ethical people. Political correctness not spoken here.

But most of all, I'm seeking an intelligent and cuddly woman who thinks I am great catch, rather than just an interesting nerd.
