I am an overall happy person with an optimistic outlook on life. I generally don't take life too seriously, unless of course it calls for it. I am lucky enough to have a great family who I love very much, loyal friends, and a career that I am extremely passionate about and lets me make a difference in people's lives. The only thing I am missing is someone to share it all with.

I make myself sound way more serious on here than I actually am. I love making up ridiculous stories and scenarios, wordplay, and doing impressions, and I have good timing but unfortunately time stands still on this silly thing we call the internet.

I am always down to go to a new bar, whether it be an upscale Hollywood lounge, a hipsteriffic Silverlake dive, a Santa Monica sports bar, or a hidden downtown speakeasy with delectible liquid concoctions. I love going out, but I equally enjoy staying at home with someone special or hanging out with friends and watching an artsy film or a goofy comedy.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, kissing in the rain, and saying that I like really cheesy cliche things on dating sites.

I believe in chivalry so I will open doors for you and always say bless you when you sneeze but first and foremost I believe in gender equality. My ideal woman is intelligent and ambitious but also likes being romanced.

People tell me that I am a great listener and that I have an authentic vibe.

I like to really be in the room with people and not lost in my head or blackberry (although I AM hopelessly addicted).

I am a humanist so I try to look at things from others' perspectives as much as possible.

I am an adventurous eater and will try just about anything but my favorites are definitely Sushi and Mexican food.

I love music, in a strictly platonic way of course.

I hold my traveling adventures very close to my heart. As ironic as it sounds, I find myself feeling most comfortable when I am in a new environment. Sometimes I go back to my photos and writing from my travels and it takes me to a very special place.
