About Me
It just suddenly occurred to me, how lucky I am.
Hard to explain when your attitude shifts from all that could be wrong to being incredibly grateful for all that is so right. I’m happy that I can travel through this life free and clear of all negative emotions. I feel blessed to have found joy in all the little things, and no sense of worry or stress.
My transformation from ”woe is me” to “an attitude of gratitude” took time and patience, and a willingness to open my mind and heart to another way of thinking and viewing the world around me.
I’ve learned that abundance comes in so many forms, and that my life only began to change when I found my inner bliss. Sounds simple and to some maybe a little silly, but it works.
I have survived many things Doctors said I probably wouldn’t…they didn’t ask my opinion on that though!
I used to think that love came with great pain, but when I looked back on each emotion and each experience, I found a deeper sense of who I was, and a closer grasp of what I truly wanted.
You know that illness can only break you if you allow it to. Fear can only control you if you believe that you have no other option. Emotions are just that…emotions…a state of mind.
We have the choice of what we believe, and those choices and desires control our destiny…it’s that basic and that simple.
I’ve reached the part of life where I’m comfortable with the woman I am. I believe that age does that naturally. If you live long enough, you’re bound to face all sorts of challenges. As each day passes, I know I'm becoming wiser and stronger and I absolutely love feeling this way.
I grew up in a very musical family, as the daughter of a Cantor and started singing in concerts with my family when I was three years old.
I've had the opportunity to sing in various musical theater productions, and to sing with bands and orchestras of all kinds. Rock to jazz, R & B, country, big band and even a Klezmer band, in English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Spanish and Italian.
I owned my own Catering company for several years, and I'm a great cook! My passions are many and they include art, music, writing, singing, cooking and so much more.
So now I find myself here hoping to meet new friends. Nothing is better than sharing life with kindred spirits...people who can laugh at life and themselves. People who like who they are, and can still see the wonder of life and feel joy in the little things that really matter.
