5/12/2008 2:54:00 PM	You've never met anyone quite like me! I am often shy until I get comfortable, so it may take some time to get to know me, but it's easy to make me laugh and even easier to make me smile. I can be serious or silly, sincere or sarcastic. I have more interests than time to pursue them all, and I am also usually open to trying something new (within reason). Some of my interests which I wish I had more time to pursue are west coast swing dancing, cooking, arts & crafts, singing, languages, photography, fitness, and outdoor activities. Much of my life revolves around my involvement in the Jewish community, but there's a lot more to me than "nice Jewish girl."

I'm pretty outgoing and well-rounded, so it's kinda hard for me to write a short essay about myself. 5/12/2008 8:37:00 AM	I live in San Diego but I'm always in LA too. I'm really close to my family and my friends are just as important to me. I work a lot and don't really come across too many Jewish guys so I thought this might be a different avenue to go. I snowboard but can't skii. I love going out but I'm just as happy staying in for the night. I'm pretty goofy but serious when I need to be. Smoking is nasty! Anything else you'll just have to ask...

I am a normal guy who likes sports and knows the way around electronics such as computers and cell phones, etc. I am also on the Conservative side for i feel as an Observant Jew, I am honest, dependable and people naturally see me as a good guy. 5/11/2008 12:51:00 AM	I'm just a good guy who likes to enjoy the city where I live (Chicago) and travel to others, explore new things and hang out with good people. OK, so I'm more than just a nice guy. I take my work and my friends seriously but I also know the right time for humor and fun. I swore off Jewish singles activities a long time ago, but not Jewish dating. I consider myself kinda shy, somewhat intellectual, occasionally stubborn and just a bit unconventional. But I am straightforward; what you see is what you get. And yes, I know how to cook. Since I travel a lot, I also enjoy meeting people in the cities I visit. I'll be in south Florida just before Memorial Day, DC in mid-June and Southern California in July, and possibly NYC sometime this summer. Who knows? I may be landing in your town soon. Unless your town sucks, of course. If I wink at you, that means I'd like to meet you in the chat room.
5/10/2008 6:56:00 PM	Hello. My name is Ben-Gourion. Ethnically, I am half Ashkenazi Jew (via my father's Orthodox and Conservative Jewish family) and half African-American (via my mother). Like Popeye, I yam what I yam and I appreciate both sides of my heritage. Some people have said that I act "Jewish" and some say that I act "Black" - whatever those potential "racist" comments may mean. Lol! Please, save any religion. I am agnostic - half Jewish via blood. However I do like Jewish traditions and plan to keep them as a part of my life. I will go to "certain" synagogues sometimes, Reform, Reconstructionism... Furthermore, I have acquaintances from many walks of life. I'm MUCH BETTER than Barack Obama for President. :-) Are you loving my sense of humor yet? :-) I'm a very competitive person; I "fight to the END!" I'm an honest, fair person. Naturally I guess that I can be a "love him or hate him" kinda guy. :-) If you like truthfulness, you may like me. I try to treat ALL others as I wish to be treated - and I try to base things that I say upon facts! Not just talking bullshit. :-) As a part time college professor, I teach/have taught: Business Management, International Business, Public Safety, Educational Psychology and Sociology. I have an M.B.A. degree and a Ph.D. degree in Organization & Management. I'm now thinking about becoming an "inner-city" high school teacher as well. I may open a "third" business following this "reorganization" process. I've been very independent throughout my life. Financially-poor African-Americans "pretty much" raised me. Once upon a time, I was exposed to my "Jewish" side, but I "dug in to" and found my own, unique Jewish identity more later. Can I be the Greatest Jewish Guy of All Time?
5/9/2008 10:11:00 PM	My friends would describe me as a loving, loyal and caring person. I like to do pottery. I love my 2 kids. I'm known to just lounge on the couch watching tv or a movie with someone. I like to go out for dinner on the weekends. But then I just rather cook a great meal. How to sum yourself up in such little words? I'm currently separated with 2 children, retail manager for a clothing store and I cook for someone. I have been a potter for the last 9 years. I'm a shy person when you first meet me but as I get comfortable I begin to open up more. Yes I am Jewish, but I only practice certain aspects of the religion. And yes, you can find a 7ft Chanukah bush in my home in December.My mate doesn't have to be of the same faith.I have learned that you don't pick your partner your heart does for you. I like a local thai place to eat at on the weekends. I love visiting with friends in Florida and taking my kids to Disney. I would love to one day go back to Italy. I was there 7-8 years ago and had an amazing time. favorite things: Some things I like... the color blue snuggling on the couch on a cold or wet night I like to shop, do pottery spooning with the right person I like 80's new wave, classic punk, alternative, some oldies music I have a thing for cooking. for someone who shares in the same interests and I or at least some of them. I have a big heart. I have morals, values and respect. I don't like to play games. This is real life not high school.

5/8/2008 6:15:00 PM	I am newly single for the first time in almost 5 years, and am ready to get back out there and try again. I am honest, loyal, caring, sensitive, and I love to have fun. I always look for the good side in everything that happens. I enjoy the outdoors, especially driving to and discovering new parks to explore with my dog. I enjoy nice dinners, museums, shows, bars, etc, but also enjoy just relaxing at home. I basically just believe in living life to the fullest and enjoying all of life's pleasures, large and small. I want to get married and have children in the future. I am not incredibly religious, I attend services on the High Holidays, and maybe two other times during the course of a year.

I am guided by my sense of idealism and optimism; I believe anything is possible if you are motivated, work really hard, and set your mind to it. My goal in earning a Master's Degree in Political Science is to make the world a better place. I have been described as having a young spirit, extremely enthusiastic and energetic (yes, even at work). I will be graduating this june from High school and i plan on attending a community college where i will get through my core classes then i will transfer to a four year. My dream job would be a marine biologist or a zoologist but i don't believe my sciences are good enough. I am not very strong into my religion but i believe i am still jewish. I observe the holidays and go to temple for the holidays but i do not attend on a regular basis.I am looking for a serious relationship...nothing more nothing less.

5/3/2008 4:23:00 PM	I'm at a crossroads in my life, waiting for the answer to some how present it self. I never have been fond of people who wait for the Lord to provide..I've more been God helps those who help themselves. Perhaps more as a survival mechanism than anything. I live in Portland, ORegon, grew up in NY and love the area where I live. There aren't alot of Jewish people here, and although I don't need to be around the culture, but it's nice to some time have culture to be a small part of!! I've found, unfortunately, there is alot of anti semitism here in Oregon although I know it's more of a low education level and ignorance than anything. But I'm a survivor, to me the glass is half full and I've dealt with the darts life throws at me, and prevail on the other side. I just was basically left in an LTR, 3 months ago now.. one of the big issues was her families utter dislike of me because I'm Jewish and from NY. Not because the lady and i didn't have a good romance, we very much did. She said no one ever traeted her as good, or was as satisfying to her but she couldn't take her families pressure to leave me, or she'd go to hell with me.. nice, huh? It was very, very hard for the first two months (took that long to stop crying pretty much), now I'm getting back on my feet and evaluating whether I'm going to remain in this city that love, or relocate..my lease is up 12/31/08..)..who knows what will happen?? oh yeah, the Shadow do, but he doesn't count..). oh yes, i am told I have a great smile and a good sense of humor..we need that being Jewish, huh?.. 5/2/2008 10:13:00 PM	I just can't seem to find any "nice Jewish guys" to date. I must admit that I am new to dating Jewish men, somehow I always dated the opposite. I am a strong believer in karma in the sense that whatever you put out there you will receieve back. I also feel that everything happens for a reason, there are no mistakes..only learning experiences. People come in and out of our lives for specific purposes and needs at those times...and if we are smart, we cherish those relationships and try to learn all that we can from them.

5/2/2008 9:02:00 PM	I grew up in an orthodox home but have come to my own conclusions about love, life, reality, the world, and the pursuit of happiness. I'm agnostic for the most part and i respect people's beliefs as long as they honestly respect mine. I'm a musician and i aim to puruse music largely in my life, it is one of the only things that i truly love doing. I find music to be intriguing, mystifying, and inspiring. It is also just about the only way i feel that i can express myself spritually. My music isn't actually 'spritual' or generally religious in any way though. I enjoy many other things besides music and am talented in many other areas as well. I'm a creative person; imagination is an incerdibly powerful thing to me. I love watching movies and i love reading books. Without humor i'd wilt away. I like to think of myself as an observer of this world surging with good-will. It is difficult for me to truly be a part of any group or social system on ideological grounds. Just b/c i don't join your club doesn't necessarily mean i find you foolish or think that 'my way' is better. I'm just fiercely independant, and i like to do my thing. At this point in my life it seems pretty clear to me that finding a Jewish girl to be serious with will be about as difficult as striking oil. At the same time i feel i should try. It couldn't hurt anyways and it'd make my life that much more comfortable. In no way do i intend to be serious with a girl based on that alone though. I want real love. The love that comes with acceptance, the right chemistry, and the willingness to give selflessly to each other. Love! G-damnit! haha whatever, it's just gotta work. I'd hate to marry out of 'convenience' (shudders). I dunno where life will take me but i'm gonna have one hell of a ride!!!

5/2/2008 12:55:00 AM	"By curvy, I do mean curvy..." My name is Rachelle and I am 24. I just went back to college at the University of Great Falls in 2007 and I am on my way to pursue my doctorate in forensic anthropology. I have lived in Montana for 18 years and Portugal the other 6 years. As for what I do in my spare time, most of it is absorbed by studying at the moment. However, I like to watch movies, I am very "outdoorsy", I absolutely LOVE hiking and 4-wheeling! Of course I am bias, I live in one of the most beautiful states to be outdoors. I am open-minded to experiencing new things, especially traveling out of the U.S. and trying foreign foods (as long as they are semi-kosher). One of the activities not mentioned above is Tae Kwon Do. I just received my yellow belt, which is a pretty amazing accomplishment for me considering I am not very good, yet! I have an extremely quirky sense of humor, I couldn't tell a joke if were to save my life, but I am pretty good with improv! I love to talk and meet new people, so I guess you could say I am not shy but I am not too boisterous either, I can certainly handle my own in a crowd! I am the type of woman that you can take home to your crazy match-making mother (I only say this because mine is!) and not worry that I may act or speak out of line. I will only make you proud to be my Beshert! I value tradition and family above all. The town where I live only has 60,000-80,000 people residing. Of those 60,000-80,000 people, we have a Jewish population of less than 100. We do not have an actual synagogue, we have a Lutheran Church that kindly lets us have our services there. As much as I love Montana, she does not support either my religion or my future career, so I definitely see myself leaving within the next two years. So far I have been looking into a private university in Erie, Pa. and once I graduate I plan to stay on the east coast. Well, I do think that about sums it up, if there is anything you want to know, please ask! I do want to forewarn you that I expect you to be a gentleman as I will be a lady. This may make me seem "prude" or naive, but I am neither of those. It only means that I am old enough now to know what I want in a partner.

PLEASE...only men who are secure in who they are and what they want need respond. Someone who is emotionally healthy and not afraid to take a risk and be vunerable in exchange for a healthy, mutual relationship. I am passionate about all things important to me, some of which are my children, G-d, my spiritual growth, teaching, learning, and discovering new things every day...about myself and the world. I enjoy hiking/backpacking, spending time by the water, intimacy, photography, and music. I have a deep appreciation for all things naturally beautiful...a sunset on a lake...the view from a mountaintop...the laughter of a child...the bond between two people who want to share their lives together. I am very open to new adventures, so I look forward to sharing your passions/interests as well! Important information: I am not Jewish...yet! (When I do convert, it will be an orthodox conversion) I am looking for a man who is spiritual and observant...or has his own desire to be moreso in the future. Someone who wants to build a life on the foundation of our love for G-d and one another. My children are 11 & 16, and loving and respectful people. The man I am looking for can accept and respect that they are a HUGE part of my life, and can be part of his as well. They are at the ages where they are pretty independent, so while I am not completely closed to the idea of more children with the right man, I can also be content to spend the rest of my life traveling and finding adventure with him. I definitely have enough time, love, AND passion for you!
