| 1/6/2009 5:58:00 PM | I am a unique individual that loves to laugh and make others laugh. I am a unique individual that loves to laugh and make others laugh. How many Jewish-Natives do you know? How many loyal Brown's fans are there;especially ones that are Virginia Natives with no ties to Ohio? Hence the Uniqueness :D I like going to Pow Wows with friends and hearing the drums play. I am Jewish and Indigenous. I would like to find someone that shares a Tribal connection. Tribe of Abraham or Tribe of Sauit. Both Tribes would be a bonus. :) A sense of humour; Trust and communication are very important. I do not care what you do for a living what kind of car you drive; my concern is if you are happy, because that is the more important then the size of your wallet. Mr. Right? Is there such a thing? Mine would be attending Pow Wows and Temple. If you think you are it then please submit your resume and your application will be kept on file.:) Maybe I am your Ms. Right. :D If you want to know more about me just ask. |
| 1/5/2009 1:32:00 PM | im just a jewish single mom looking for mr.right wanting to be cherished and in love like everyone else. |
| 1/3/2009 3:44:00 PM | Ivanhoe's Rebecca. I am amazing. And I am amazed by life every single day. I find great joy in the simplest of pleasures; going for a walk, watching a movie, sitting quietly, making cookies. I have many interests. I spend time volunteering for charity. I dig folk music and meaningful conversation. I love to dance and swim and life's surprises. I am at ease in most situations and around most people be they famous or unknown. I am currently listening to book two of Dune on my way to work, and I cried out loud when Captain America died. I am in fact an exquisite and unusual creature. Find me if you want to build something together. Immense possibilities. |
| 1/2/2009 12:49:00 PM | I was born in 1966, raised in Southern California by jewish parents, went to temple frequently, sang in the choir, and learned what it meant to be a Jew. Once I got out of highschool and the house, I lost alot of that. As a parent, I'm re-learning the joys of being jewish. We are big hockey fans, (GO KINGS!!!)and my son plays some, but we enjoy going to Kings games when we can, and Winterhawks games as well.A love (or even like) of hockey is a HUGE plus!!! I'm outgoing and far from shy, very intelligent and proud of it, know the meaning of loyalty, love, and honesty, am a giving person and try to give everyone the benefit of a doubt and not make snap judgements. I have been divorced for almost six years now, and I have two children, a daughter who is 11, and a son who is 15. I have many hobbies, and enjoy learning new things and seeing new places. I tend to be a bit of a couch potato, but an active person can easily persuade me to get out more and try new things. I work out a couple times a week, and try to tend to my appearance, but I'm not a JAP, and I am not a materialistic girl. I think its more important that I'm healthy and a good parent and person than to spend ridiculous amounts of time on my outward appearance. I do prefer casual clothes, but when I need to shine, I'm told I clean up beautifully! I live in Sherwood, and we really like it here, but if the right man came along and it required that we move, I'd be willing to consider it. I hope to find him here in the Pacific Northwest however!! There are many facets to me, and I'm happy to share all of them. If there is something about me you want to know, feel free to ask, I'm very open to questions and enjoy the opportunity to discuss or debate intelligently on just about any subject. Shalom and best of luck! |
| 12/29/2008 11:10:00 AM | Hi! Dating is fun and exciting, but I am ready for a long term relationship with someone within reach of Orange County, Calif. (and preferably Jewish). I act and feel younger than my chronological years and want to find a man in similar shape physically and spiritually. I enjoy my active life, and have been divorced for several years. |
| 12/28/2008 6:25:00 PM | Attention, menschen! Get ready for the deal of a lifetime -- and it's a one time offer, folks! You can't get a sweet deal like this anywhere else, we're talking prime grade A! This is no joke, gentlemen... I'm telling you, don't pass this one up without so much as a second glance! We have here one genuine Nice Jewish Girl available for you to meet and greet -- she's really sweet! Diverse in her abilities and interests, this Brooklyn native is ready to meet that Special Someone who may even become more special as time goes on! She's looking for someone with whom she can grow together as an individual and as a couple. She cooks, she crafts, she even makes Julienne fries! Actually, she doesn't make Julienne fries, but she wouldn't mind trying. Let's see what she has to say for herself...
"Weird Al is the man, and the Mets rock. I'm big on my hobbies (which include reading, writing, food [creation as well as consumption], and making jewelry) and volunteering with my local ambulance. I'm not an EMT but I yell at the ones on TV who never even BOTHER to TRY to FAKE pretending to make CPR look like CPR... Yes, I know how dangerous it is, but at least PRETEND for verisimilutide! I love Heroes and Cartoon Network, although most of their stuff these days is kind of eh at best.
I hate writing essays about myself, and find myself disinclined to read any that start with, 'I'm a so and so from here and there...' because I enjoy creativity in an individual. I'm not always very organized, I'm a geek, and if you want to know more, perhaps you should try contacting me.'
There you have it... She's one of a kind! Who will be the lucky guy? I'm telling you, there's no charge and no strings attached for a simple "hello" -- and who knows but that what follows next may be the best thing in life -- and it really IS free! (And yes, she does have to be different. Well, it caught your eye, didn't it?)
For the record, not a paying member. One who fondly remembers when you could at least reply to an email without having to pay. Not too thrilled about that... And not intending to pay money I don't have for this service. |

| 12/26/2008 11:41:00 AM | Hello, I am a 37 year old, single jewish mother of 1 seven year old girl. To be honest I write rather well most of the time, unfortunately writing about myself is a whole different story. I am a loving, nurturing family oriented person. I have been told I have an oustanding personality and I enjoy having a good time. I grew up in central upstate NY although I was born in Flushing Queens (like the Nanny). I love to sing and I like to dance. I am working on uploading a picture but I don't have one at this time. I have long dirty blonde/light brown hair and big brown eyes. I am pretty although my mother says I could stand to lose a few pounds....(I make a mean matzoh ball soup and have been told i am a good cook.) |
| 12/25/2008 11:29:00 PM | I have started this essay over at least twenty-six times already. I know I should be trying to sell myself here, but as a jewish woman, I would rather kvetch :-). I am a professional woman with too many interests too list. I am just restarting my life. Not really sure yet where I want it to go. |

I enjoy working out at the gym, shooting hoops, hanging out with my frat. brothers ,friends and family! I am an honest, caring, thoughtful guy who will treat you with respect. |
| 12/24/2008 5:19:00 PM | I am a laid back easy going guy but sometimes I am a perfectionist type. I love life and especially the outdoors. I like sleeping under the stars when I can. I care about the environment and I care about being jewish even if I don't regularly go to shul. I dont eat pork and try to follow at least some of the kosher stuff at least regarding what I will and wont eat. I try to follow most of the holiday customs too. I love animals and have had several dogs in my life (mostly big dogs)and currently have a white malamute/shepherd mix and her name is Harley. I like golf and play occasionally. I love most sports and try to stay active. I like playing more than watching though. I love big motorcycles too. I also love native American things and their beliefs about life and the earth, etc.. |
| 12/23/2008 9:24:00 PM | Shalom, I am Robert and I SJM new to the Tacoma area. I am in the US military and just returned from a 2 year tour in South Korea. I am Jewish and observe as much as I can all of the mitzvot, unfortunately I have to sacrifice a great deal due to my career. i am a communications specialist in the army and I love what I do. | 12/22/2008 11:02:00 PM | Healthy - Very Smart - Clever.
Stable, loyal, responsible, but bad and fun... Filled with confidence; guarantee if I feel we are on common ground, you are going to be tickled pink…
I’m confident, at peace, aggressive in my pursuits. Balance is a big thing with me. I like to think of the little things and the big picture. I’m practical and take care of my responsibilities, but I’m also a romantic and slightly off kilter in a fairly entertaining way if you get to know me.
I love music - All types, especially Electronic and Reggae. Have variant collection: Alternative, Ambient, Blues, Classic Rock, Dub, Electronic, Hip Hop, Industrial, Jazz, New Wave, Nu Metal, Metal, Punk, Reggae, Rock, Trance.
Generally enjoy the urban landscape; I am just a little devil to explore the city with.
Not an activist but concerned about politics, environmental issues, world peace, poverty, human and animal rights.
Yes, I have 4 kids, and I have great relationships with them, educated, promising, well-raised, problem free, 2 are out of state, and 2 are out of town, so 95plus% of the time it's not something that factors into my everyday life, but it is very important to me. So I love family and can embrace a merged one, would even love to build a castle with a protective moat of kindness, sensation, provision, and entertainment, but for all practical purposes I live a single life presently.

I am a 51 year old gentleman that is recently separated. My wife and children have moved to New York, and will not be returning. Tomorrow will be a much brighter day and I need someone special to share my life with. I enjoy a quiet evening at home watching a good movie with someone special. I like to cook (not a chef) but I'm told my home made pizza is very good, and my omelette's are the best (money back guarantee :). I am a nice guy that has no interest in sports. I am Jewish but not religious.

| 12/18/2008 10:16:00 AM | I believe life is what you put in to it. I am a very caring person and have experienced the pleasantness of committed relationships and I believe I have learned what makes it work as a couple. I consider myself to be fortunate to have close family and friends. I enjoy a professional career that allows me flexibility to travel, enjoy local theater and the many cultural aspects of our area. I have always taken a great deal of pride in where I reside and enjoy working around my home. I also enjoy the sharing of household duties including cooking and entertaining with my partner. I enjoy intimate conversations and I am a good listener. In years past I played a very active role as a volunteer in the management of a Jewish Reform Congregation. I periodically attend religious services and enjoy a sense of a shared community with new and old acquaintances.I like to go to live theatre, concerts, dancing and movies. I have been fortunate to travel in the past four years and desire to do more as there is just so many interesting places to see both in this country and abroad. |
| 12/14/2008 1:55:00 PM | It’s hard being single again. My prayer; please connect “the” woman, the mutual match that will satisfy our dreams together so we can be in love forever. I'm one of the few conservative J's at my Temple who keep 100% Kosher. (like I already a near impossible match) Hoy Vehasmier! |
| 12/13/2008 7:15:00 PM | I'm a happy, feel good about myself person who doesn't mind being alone, but am finding myself "lonely." I have many interests and always love to try out the new - places, foods, activities... The fact that our Jewish community is small means that I am fairly active. I sing in the choir and chant Torah (on Yom Kippur). I bake and possibly make one the best challahs you would ever taste, anywhere. My signature item is rugelah and people have been known to push and shove getting to a table when they see my desserts.
Another side of me is my involvement in Karate. This is actually a family thing, although my kids had a head start. I have just moved up to a higher rank which takes focus and dedication. I am proud of this accomplishment and it has led me to understand myself and what I want in my life. I also recognize that I would not be the person I am today if I had stayed in my "old" life. Everyone can make life better. It's combining that with another person that I look for.
Change is also good. We're not getting any younger. Let's take a chance. Besides "me" I have a son (22) & daughter (25)- see the 2nd picture. I have been divorced for over 17 years. |
| 12/12/2008 5:32:00 PM | I'm 20 years old, born and raised in the Bronx. I'm in the process of getting my own event planning company up and running, with the economy the way it is, it's not an easy task but I'm working on it.
I know who I am, where I want to be in the next 10 years, it's just a matter of getting there and I'd love to find not just someone, but the one to enjoy life with. I want to get married and have children, so those things aren't part of your agenda, kindly don't waste your time or mine. I've been through my fair share of heartbreak and I just want to find something real.
*Just so we're clear, I come across way too many people who "click" with me until they get to find out that I'm not a size two. I'm not a house by any means, but I'm not skinny, so if you're a shallow b*astard, please don't waste my time*

- I'm not possessive, controlling, jealous, materialistic, shallow, arrogant or a gold digger.

- I'm also the first person to stand up for myself when I know I'm right.

- My name isn't 'ma' or 'mami', I'm not your mother.

- My biggest pet peeve is when people tap on something like its a drum set.
I have a heart of gold and the best of intentions, I promise you, you won't be disappointed. =]
Take a chance,
-April
