About Me
I have been called a true renaissance man. I believe a man can be strong yet sensitive as long as he has found and gotten in touch with his true inner self. Although certainly not an easy feat, this has been a large part of my life's journey of personal growth and discovery.
I am a professional disability advocate and consultant in private practice in the greater Boston area. I specialize in low incidence(rare)disabilities. I work with individuals w/disabilities and their families/friends, employers, educational systems, private and public sector agencies & businesses, media, film & television, etc. I especially enjoy working with young people whom may very likely someday walk in the footsteps of those like myself and others who have grown up with an often little or mis-understood disability. I also consult with and provide training to business, governmental agencies, school systems, law enforcement, and the media to provide appropriate and realistic sensitivity and awareness.
On a more personal note I am a sensitive, strong, caring, warm and gentle man whose passions in life include, but are certainly not limited to, the great outdoors, wildlife, walking on the beach holding hands, visiting quaint country inns, the scent of lilacs and cedar, thunderstorms, intimate conversation over a cup of herbal tea, exploring western Massachusetts and Maine, and most of all good friends. Some of my hobbies/interests are theater (I have studied and taught improvisational theater, character development, and drama therapy, etc.), kites, poetry(writing/reading/sharing), electronics/amateur (ham) radio/computers, nostalgia, aviation, boating, and comedy.
I believe with every fiber of my being that there is good in all, that to find and express forgiveness where it is most difficult, and to love deeply and passionately are among God's greatest challenges and gifts!
