MY BIO ~Mark’s quest for health, longevity, truth and life’s meaning began as a young man when he left a successful real estate and mortgage-banking career on the east coast. This ongoing journey has taken him around the world spanning 6 continents and 25 countries. Today, Mark is an internationally known lecturer, practitioner, and teacher in the Holistic Healing Arts. He has been featured on television, radio and newspaper nationally and globally. Mark is the former Vice-President and Director of the Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico, and has been on staff at Gabriel Cousens’ M.D., Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center. Mark is a yoga, chi gong and meditation instructor, as well as a gourmet live food chef, certified flower essence practitioner, Reiki master, and a well known healer. He has been ordained as a spiritual minister and performs weddings and other ceremonies. Currently working via telephone with his global clientele Mark is facilitating sessions of healing, soul coaching, and energy-based psychology.
He has been a student of Yoga since 1987 and a teacher for over a decade. During his eclectic training he has been initiated into many lineages of Yoga and Meditation. He studied and taught Ashtanga /Power Yoga, Kripalu Yoga, Shivananda Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Contact Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra.
Mark has taught at many world-renowned spas, resorts, ashrams and institutes including Canyon Ranch, Miraval Life in Balance, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and Omega Institute. His premier energy healing, Namassage™, has been offered at Miraval Life In Balance and his Shamanic Journeys at Canyon Ranch. Mark was a featured lecturer, trainer, and teacher in conjunction with the Canyon Ranch Spa Club aboard Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 ocean liner during her maiden year.
Mark created Canyon Ranch’s very successful metaphysical service, Shamanic Journey, in 2002. Shamanic Journey enables the client to become more in touch with their true essence. Since the inception of Shamanic Journey, he has assisted thousands of people in transforming their physical, emotion, psychological and spiritual imbalances/blockages from a cellular level.
His very well received and popular lecture~experience Energy Connection™ teaches people of the link between alternative healing modalities, quantum physics and spirituality.
The flavor that Mark brings to all of his work is an atmosphere of love, safety, opening, and healing where people feel able to let down their guard and walls from past pains, traumas, abuse, and ways of being that create imbalance and dis-ease. Mark is able to take his clients into the depth of their heart and soul to receive guidance, knowledge, inspiration and healing that changes their life / lifestyle to reflect a more authentic divine expression of their being.
In 2003 Mark founded ------ offering his services via workshops, non-profit and corporate events as well as, one-on-one personal and professional healing sessions. His clients consist of everyday people, well-known spiritual masters, spiritual teachers, medical doctors, attorneys, holistic health practitioners, entrepreneurs, CEO's, artists, musicians, singers, and actors. After 20 years of studying and practicing the art of Yoga, meditation, conscious eating, spirituality and mysticism Mark has dedicated his life to teaching people how to improve their own health and well being.
During 2005 - 2006 he attended the University of Spiritual Healing & Sufism studying under the guidance of a Sufi Master, based in Jerusalem affectionately known as Sidi. Mark met a Kabbalistic Rabbi in the summer of 2006 and later that year was inspired to pursue the Rabbinate. Mark made his first pilgrimage to the Holy Land in February 2007 where he was profoundly moved by spiritual experiences in Tsfat (Safed), Israel, the mystical city, from where Kabbalah originated.
