Been there and done many different things. What is most important for anyone to know is that I am happy. I've taken the ups and downs of life and have made what I consider a good life. Now someone is about to ask why I never married? We all are a product of our environment to some degree. My grandmother was divorced my mother and cousin both widowed at 30. It shaped my outlook to be able to take care of myself. I also made some poor choices in men at times but now look for a whole different set of characteristics.

I enjoy many different activities but find my friends and family of the upmost importance. I like to travel and see different places and really want to visit Tuscany.
My one requirement is that the places I go to have indoor plumbing and running water.

I work a regular 9 to 5 job but also teach in a craft area and carry on my own craft sideline. I enjoy the process of creation and making something out a group of parts.

Reading has always been a passion and it can be anything from "junk" to business books or to a quirky mystery. A raining lazy day with some music and a good book is a day well spent.

I do not let the little things become big mountains. Life is too short and too precious to let yourself be held back.

My desire is to find a partner in crime. I want to travel and experience more of what is out there. In addition I would like someone who is comfortable in their own skin and likes themselves. This man should love life and although it does happen he should still be able to look at himself and if need be take some time to be a couch potato on a cold winter's day. Down days are allowed as it part of human nature but getting on with life should be a priority.

It is not required that we be joined at the hip and his friends should still be an important part of his life, as well as his family. I don't want to find my double, I want to find a someone where we can compliment each other.
