Tend to be quiet until I get to know someone. While I love to travel and sightsee, I also enjoy staying home. I'm not much into TV but do enjoy watching some of the cable stations such as A&E, History, HGTV (my favorite), Food Channel, etc. I spend a lot of time reading novels. I love to read mysteries or drama type books. I also enjoy the same types of movies, but would prefer to watch them at home than in the theater. I love to cook but am definitely not gourmet. I also tend to work too much! Maybe that is why I do enjoy being home when I can be. When I do travel, I prefer to spend time relaxing as well as going out and about. I am not into the bar scene and while I will occasionally go with friends, I am not much of a drinker...a few times a year.

I would like to meet someone to do things with on the weekends, travel with, just enjoy life with. Not looking at this time in my life to get married again but it is not completely out of the question. I would like to meet someone who is like me in that they don't mind being home and watching a movie...don't feel that they always have to be on the go. I am looking for someone that doesn't have to be surrounded by people all of the time and doesn't have to always be the center of attention. I also don't want someone that is either macho macho or will allow everyone to walk over them. I like a person that will stick up for themselves and follow through with what they feel is the right thing to do and not just go with the flow.
