About Me
I was born in New York, went to college in NY, grad school in Boston, and then relocated to Seattle. I am separated from my wife and I have two teenage girls. I am self employed and take a good amount of satisfaction from my work. I feel comfortable talking over a cup of coffee as I do at an elegant meal. I think I have a sense of humor, but I have learned that my humor can turn into sarcasm. I like Seinfeld and Larry David (my childhood friend just divorced him). I very much enjoy life. I like taking hikes, whether around Greenlake or the backwoods, reading cookbooks or heavy novels (last one was Grass' Tin Drum. I am politically a liberal. I'm a pretty good cook, but I have yet to make a Hollandaise sauce. I was brought up orthodox, but I am now best described as reform or humanistic (whatever that means). I feel close to Jewish culture, but not to ritual.
