About Me
Not much of a house frau, but I do manage to keep my little house in decent condition and relish the opportunity to have some one to cook for. Love the process involved in giving dinner parties, the planning, shopping, food prep and the company of friends, and although I can be incredibly pedantic about the proper use of language, I do consider "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm" to be a word, and one of my absolute favorites to hear. I have been married, divorced and engaged and disengaged, in that order. Each has been a learning experience. I would like to be able to say something positive about being divorced, and for years I did try, but let's be honest, it's sad to lose a relationship you thought would last your whole life. Loretta Lynn wrote a song after her husband died that sums it all up for me, "I miss being Mrs., tonight".

Who I'm looking for
The man I'm looking for should be kind-hearted without being a door-mat, smart without turning every conversation into a contest of intellectual superiority and wise enough to be able to laugh at himself, at me, at the world in general. Life is too long to spend it being argumentative and miserable, don't you agree? I really need someone to celebrate my faith with me, not just tolerate it, so being an observant Jew is a plus for me. Having someone to sing the Havadallah blessing, that would be so nice.

Please have a sense of humor and a serious sex drive. Please be mentally stable and not in need of anti depressant or anti anxiety medication (long, but very entertaining story there). A memorable line from "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" refers to life after losing a partner and goes a little like this: "It would be an awfully small heart, that didn't have room to love another".

My house may be small, but my heart has many rooms and hallways, stairways and verandas. Plenty of space for you. Drop me a line, (tbonse) I use hot mail as well as at and t.
