How to describe myself? In a word, Purple. Besides that I am intelligent and insightful with a good sense of humor - all of which I look for in the people I meet. I like children and animals - dogs & cats as well as dolphins, hummingbirds and owls.
I have recently joined a gym and enjoy going about 3 - 4 days a week as my schedule allows. I enjoy museums (art more than history) though I have not had a chance to really expore the ones here in Columbus (I've been here almost 3 years and have still not experienced much of what Columbus has to offer!). I love water - the beach is my version of relaxation, boating/cruising (though it's tough to do, not having a boat!). Of course my favorite past time is spending time with my daughter!
I do not like intolerance and try not to be quick to judge. Close-minded people frustrate me but, as I have been called "controlling" and out spoken, I would seek someone with whom I can find a middle ground of respect.
Bad grammar makes me nuts (Ok - maybe I am quick to judge!)as do self-centered individuals. I have no problem with a positive sense of self but not to the exclusion of others.
I enjoy crafts though I do not get to enjoy them as much as I'd like. I like reading, crossword puzzles, Scrabble and Sudoku as well as movies and music (mostly alternative - 80's through current). I enjoy a variety of TV shows but no longer have the time to watch them all between the gym, work and taking care of my daughter.
I love to travel though I don't get to do it often and would love to share it with someone who will enjoy it with me.
