About me...ok.. here goes. I hate shoes. I didn't come into this world with shoes. Don't see why I have to wear them. Maybe its my southern upbringing but I am the official poster child for Huck Finn. I invented the catchphrase " barefoot bandit ". I also believe Diet Mt. Dew is the most fundamentally awesome drink in the world. I don't drink coffee. You should come over to the dark side. Grab a Dew! I believe that my soap is better smelling than any cologne. I prefer to nap on the couch. I am a closet couch napper. That's right, I have a huge couch in my closet where I regularly nap. I think a sense of humor is probably the best quality a person can have. You don't have to be funny, but it helps to recognize funny. Myself, I'm not funny. :) But I like funny.

And ladies, girls, women, etc etc.. I like you all. I like you just the way you are. Put down the magazines. Your fine just the way you are. Sheesh, I better stop now.

Hmmm...not the easiest thing to answer. I'll say this...the first time I fell in love I was 6 years old. Of course I didn't know what love was at the time, but I know for certain that I was hopelessly, totally, and completely in love at 6. I grew up in Louisiana. I would skip school to swim in the warm waters of the bayou behind my home. One day I was swimming very far out in the deepest parts. I would float there, suspended like a white star on the night sky. And I saw her on the shore. My new neighbors daughter. A very small delicate girl. Her name was Abbie. She waved to me from the shore. I swam to her. About 10 feet from her I saw them. The deepest, darkest brown eyes I had ever seen. Eyes so deep I got lost in them. She had dark brown hair and milk white skin. And I knew right then. I knew it in my soul. She smiled at me. It was a smile of love. Of friendship. Of hope.

Is it an odd thing to remember that smile? To remember a pair of eyes from so long ago. I guess that's what I'm looking for. A smile that can't ever be forgotten. Love suspended like a star on the night sky. Watching over me. :)
