I tend to be on the intellectual side: I love books, art, good conversation and learning new things; but I like to think I'm fairly down to Earth, too. I love to travel. Recent trips have included Italy, China and Russia. I also go about once a year to Britain, where I lived for a time and which I love. I love to go to the theater and to museums and historic sites. I observe Shabbat and keep kosher, though I eat dairy out. Politically, I am left of center. I have a job which I enjoy and which gives me great satisfaction.

Although I have built an active and fulfilling life for myself as a single person, I am now looking for something more. I have a few close friends and am friendly with colleagues during the day, but now I would very much like to find a companion with whom to share my life and have children.
