I have a great passion for life. I love traveling and meeting people. Though the spirit of adventure accompanies me every where, I am not a dare-devil. Another "spirit" who walks the same journey as I, is the "Spirit of Humor," a delightful and welcome companion. Long ago, I learned not to take myself too seriously, but to take seriously what I do.

Good conversation is a joy, and if accompanied by a mug of tasty, hot java, then there would be two fine activities to savor, in which conversation would take stage center. (This is a potential option for the first meeting).

As an eclectic person, I have a diversity of interests: outdoors, indoors, and at home. An example of some of the outdoor lures: fishing, (pun intended), walking, hiking, camping, backpacking, swimming, bike riding, riding horses and much more. In addition, I love to dance, and I enjoy museums, art galleries, theater, dance, ballet, opera, bluegrass festivals, folk music, 60's music, rock and roll, some Western, and most genres of music, except for heavy metal, rap and the "noise" that is some times passed off as (good) music.

Writing is a passion of mine, and I love to read, sketch, paint, work with jewelry and some crafts, as well as photography, particularly in outdoor settings, and a plethora of of other creative endeavors. When given the opportunity to do so, I enjoy public speaking, giving presentations, speeches and lecturing.

I have a major interest in medical anthropology, (specializing in alternative, complimentary and integrated medicine), archeology, mythology, Native American spirituality, quantum physics and other esoteric interests.

I am a compassionate, empathetic, passionate person. Integrity, loyalty, fairness, honesty are importan to me. Monogomy is a must. I am open minded and flexible. Though I greatly enjoy the company of others, particularly a significant other, I also enjoy alone time.

Ultimately, I always see a light at the end of the tunnel, thus my companions of "spirit of....(adventure, humor)," also includes the spirit of optimism, (healthily balanced with a dose of practicality). And, for those of you interested in right-brain, left-brain phenomena, I am very strong on both sides and so right-brained that it goes way beyond the boundaries of the graph...
